Classic Era Krater (35cm/13.77”)

The Classical Period of ancient Greece(500-336 B.C.) was a time when the Greeks achieved new heights in art, architecture, theater, and philosophy. The Classical Period began with the Greek victory over the Persians and a new feeling of self-confidence in the Greek world. This was a war for freedom, and the Greeks would continue on, free from Persian rule.On one side of the Krater it is depicted Artemis the goddess of hunting and on the other Athena the goddess of wisdom.
